Let Juan Mungia and Alonso Gonzalez, both experienced, English speaking, "pura vida" Costa Ricans, show you a wonderful fishing experience in their local waters. Juan and Alonso have teamed together to help produce unforgettable fishing trips for many different clients in recent years. They will continue to make every effort to ensure an enjoyable day on the water for all concerned.


Juan and Alonso are strict conservationists and release all sailfish and marlin. A few fish (tuna, dorado, wahoo etc.) are kept for dinner. They enjoy sharing with clients the incredible wonders of the sea.


Rodrigo and Unclebob are the owners of the 30ft. Custom Palm Beach Diesel, "Lone Star". Rodrigo is a "Tico" with over 27 years on the water and Unclebob is an avid sportsman from South Carolina, and has home in the San Juanillo area about 30 min. south of Tamarindo.
